What Are The Differences in the Printing Methods?

Screen Printing

Screen printing is a popular method for creating custom t-shirts. The process involves using a mesh screen to apply ink to the fabric. The ink is then cured, or dried, and the shirt is ready to wear.

Screen printing is often the type of print preferred over other methods, such as digital printing because it allows for more intricate designs and can be more durable.

It is also generally less expensive than other methods. Screen-printed t-shirts are often seen as more high quality and are therefore more popular among consumers. Screen printing is a versatile process that can be used to create a wide variety of t-shirt designs.

Embroidery

Embroidering a custom design onto a t-shirt is a great way to add a personal touch to your garment. When choosing a design, you’ll need to consider the overall style of the shirt as well as the logo or image that you want to use.

Once you have your design ready, the process of embroidering it onto the shirt is relatively straightforward.

First, the garment is placed on an embroidery hoop and secured in place. Then, using a needle and thread, the design is stitched onto the fabric. The final step is to trim any loose threads and enjoy your new custom t-shirt.

Direct To Garment

If you’re looking for a garment printing method that will give you the high resolution and vibrant ink colors, direct-to-garment printing is a great option.

This method is well-suited for printing on a variety of garment styles, and the ink is specifically formulated to bond with fabric fibers. As a result, direct-to-garment printing can provide excellent durability and colorfastness.

In terms of pricing, direct-to-garment printing is typically more expensive than other methods, but the cost per garment can vary depending on the number of colors and the size of the print area.
